Trail Riding at Ballacorey

Ballacorey's horse tracks have been created with the merger of two prominent Northern farms, Ballacorey and Braust by people who work with and understand horses. The two farms are run as a commercial arable unit and, as such, there are no permanent agricultural livestock to compromise the horse tracks.

Keep your horse fit!

Ballacorey's undulating ground is ideal for getting horses fit. The sandy soil makes the going good in most conditions, also with the added advantage of several miles of all weather surface.

All Abilities

We offer tracks for riders of varying abilities. We can also cater for any specific request you may have, to include carriage driving, pony club, endurance riding, hacking and other local equestrian events.

Rider Safety

The staff at Ballacorey are fully committed to providing a safe riding experience for their clients. However, as we all know, the world of riding is never risk free. We do expect that all riders participating in activities at Ballacorey are covered by their own insurance for damage to property, loss, theft, accident or injury.

Please note that all riders are required to wear approved hard hats and hi-viz vests/jackets.
